House built in 1738 by farmers tells the history of Snow Country
This farmhouse was built in 1736, and the design with its large central gate is seen widely throughout the snow country. In order to withstand 3 to 4 meters of snow accumulation during the winter months, the design employs thick pillars with large joints and many support braces.
