The upmost part of Uonogawa River is a ten minute's walk from JR Jōetsu Line Tsuchitaru Station. It is a clear mountain stream with beautiful autumn foliage. It also features the JR Jōetsu Line's stone railway bridge which was constructed about 80 years ago.
